Starting an instant session

Sometimes you need to see a client right now rather than booking ahead. An instant session starts immediately, from inside the client's room, and can invite everyone to join straight away.

Starting an instant session

Open the client's room from your dashboard, then choose to start an instant session. There's no date or time to set: the session begins now. Once you create it, you're taken straight into the room, ready for your client to join.

The one-hour window

An instant session runs for one hour from the moment you create it. Nobody is cut off at the hour mark if you're mid-session. The limit simply stops new people from joining or rejoining after an hour has passed. We may add more control over the duration in future.

Inviting people to an instant session

Instant sessions use the same recipient options as scheduled ones: the client's primary contact is invited by default, and you can change the recipient or add more people. The difference is timing. Because the session is happening now, invites go out straight away.
